What began as wanderlust—a desire to see the world beyond familiar horizons—blossomed into something more profound. Traveling across continents, savouring diverse cuisines, and experiencing the artistry of cocktails in different cultures ignited a passion that couldn't be ignored: the dream of opening a restaurant and bar that would capture these global flavours.
Then came COVID-19, bringing the world to a standstill. But within this challenge lay opportunity—a question that sparked innovation: "How can we bring joy to people during a time of such uncertainty and pain?"
The answer was brilliantly simple: ready-to-drink cocktails delivered directly to people's homes. The concept took flight, even earning recognition on BBC Essex Radio, where cocktail recipes and home bartending tips were shared.
Success followed quickly, with thousands of bottles finding their way to hundreds of homes throughout Essex and London.
But life, as it often does, brought change. As the world emerged from the pandemic's shadow, personal loss struck—the passing of a beloved family member shifted priorities and deepened connections to cultural heritage. From this emotional turning point, a new vision emerged: a premium sorrel rum that would honour legacy while creating something new.
Today, Bar and Boujee stands committed to expanding its takeaway menu, its spirits drinks and cocktail offerings, with a future vision of establishing a hospitality chain. But for now, the brand embraces a simple philosophy that captures its essence:

Our Objective
Bar and Boujee started as a business with the ambition to open a chain of fun bars and cafés—and that dream is still alive today. It was temporarily put on hold when COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill. However, things didn’t truly stop; life simply evolved in a different way.
Bar and Boujee brought joy to doorsteps across the country through a cocktail delivery service. Now, the goal is to expand the offering; more food, more services, more alcoholic products and one day a household hospitality chain.
As for Bar and Boujee’s alcoholic spirits, the brand aspires to become a household name alongside other leading brands. It will release a variety of Caribbean-inspired rums, vodkas, and gins, with the aim of exciting the community with unique flavours. The first spirit launched is our Bar and Boujee Sorrel Spirit Drink (Rum), available to purchase on the website.
The vision doesn’t stop there. Bar and Boujee aims to feature in bars, drink establishments, and events across the country, bringing people together through branded experiences, events, and collaborations.

Bar and Boujee will expand its offering by releasing Caribbean-inspired vodka and gin. The brand will grow across the United Kingdom, bringing its products and events to multicultural cities up and down the country. Bar and Boujee will aim to enter supermarkets and retail stores, while also working towards opening a number of flagship drink establishments across London and the Home Counties.
